I noticed an interesting item while browsing the news recently.
Galaxia Moneytree
GXA Coin
Shall we start by looking at the news first?
Galaxia Moneytree provides a micro-payment service, and it's also a beneficiary of one of the biggest issues in the market right now, which is the allowance of Security Token Offerings (STOs).
The reason I became interested in it is because of STOs. In other words, I wanted to see which coins would benefit from the legalization of STOs in Korea.
Galaxia S&M is the largest shareholder of Galaxia Moneytree, and its subsidiary, Galaxia Next, is engaged in blockchain-based NFT STO issuance.
So, you can think of the hierarchy as Galaxia S&M > Galaxia Moneytree (major shareholder) > subsidiary Galaxia Next.
Recently, the stock prices of Galaxia Moneytree and Galaxia S&M have been on the rise, in tandem with the legalization of STOs in Korea.
Below is Meta Galaxia, a platform operated by Galaxia Next.
I'll list the link at the bottom for your reference.
For me, one of the most important things is the main homepage.
By looking at the website, you can get a sense of how this project is perceived by others.
From what I've seen, the Meta Galaxia website is very clean and well-designed. If I were to compare it to others, I would say I like it more than Upbit NFT's website.
It's possible to trade on Meta Galaxia using Korean won as well.
I clicked on one of the artworks in the marketplace to check it out.
This artwork can be purchased using GXA, Klaytn, or Ethereum, and if you trade using GXA, you will receive a 10% reward.
If you're not sure what GXA is, let me explain briefly.
GXA is one of the coins listed on Bithumb, one of the top 5 cryptocurrency exchanges in Korea.
The current price of Galaxia (GXA) is 20 won, and according to information provided by Bithumb, its market capitalization is in the 38 billion won range. Compared to other coins with inflated market caps, GXA's market cap is relatively low.
Here is a summary of the information provided by Bithumb:
Galaxia is a project used as a payment and reward system. It is currently available on the NFT platform called Meta Galaxia, and there are plans to build an STO platform and DeFi platform in the future. (The STO platform plan is particularly noteworthy, as it is clearly stated.)
The STO platform will enable distributed investment in real assets such as real estate and artwork, following MetaGalaxia. STO projects will be conducted via NFTs in the Metaverse, with GXA tokens used for payment and rewards.
On the MetaGalaxia service, NFT issuance and trading are possible, with GXA tokens obtained as rewards for transactions.
From what I can tell, it appears that GXA is a coin that aligns well with the current Metaverse trends. Of course, we need to see how the project progresses, but there are already several noteworthy features that could attract attention from the market in the short term.
It seems that the ownership structure of domestic listed companies and cryptocurrencies can be messy when they are associated with each other, but it appears that some of the ownership relationships were sorted out to some extent last year.
Galaxia Moneytree is holding a corporate briefing for institutional investors on the 30th.
The information provided at the briefing could be important, but it seems that not many people are paying attention to it yet.
It's unclear what exactly will be discussed at the briefing, but if any news comes out of it, I will be sure to share it again.
